Before you go

  • Many beach shacks and smaller shops prefer UPI or cash; carry a small amount of cash as backup.
  • Scooter rentals are common. Carry your original driving licence if you plan to ride.
  • Swimming is unsafe at many beaches during the monsoon; follow lifeguard flags.
