Who we are
This policy applies to travelgearly.com (“TravelGearly”, “we”, “us”). If you have questions, email us at hello@travelgearly.com.
Information you enter into our tools
The packing list generator, international trip checklist, luggage weight calculator, budget calculator and essentials finder run entirely in your browser. What you type — destinations, items, weights, amounts — is not sent to our servers.
To keep your checklists and luggage lists between visits, some tools save data in your browser’s local storage on your device. You can remove it at any time with the Reset or Clear buttons, or by clearing your browser’s site data. Shareable links contain your trip answers in the address (for example, destination and trip length), so only share them with people you choose.
Information you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify you.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Affiliate links and third-party websites
Some links take you to retailers such as Amazon.in. When you visit another website, its own privacy policy applies, and it may set cookies to track the referral. See our affiliate disclosure.
Children
Our website is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. Email us to make a request.
